Trick or Treat! And Smile for Local Family of Dentists Who Buys Back Halloween Candy

.. – Trick or Treat! And smile … because this is a sweet treat to support our troops throughout the world.

For the Fifth year, Father, Son, and Daughter Dentists, Dr. Nalin Patel, Dr. Arpan Patel, & Dr. Ekta Patel , of Oxford Valley Dental Excellence in association with the Patel Cares Organization is once again participating in a nationwide campaign to promote dental health while giving something back to help the troops. The Patel Cares Organization and Oxford Valley Dental Excellence will buy back the Halloween candy that area trick-or-treaters collect and donate it to ‘Operation Gratitude’ for distribution to service men and women deployed overseas.

Children can bring their bags of Halloween goodies to the Oxford valley Dental Excellence dental office at 240 Middletown Blvd., Suite 100 in Langhorne on Monday November 1 – Friday November 12 from 9 am – 6 pm. Drs. Patel and their staff will weigh and pay each child $2 for each pound of candy that is collected.

"We love to see children smile and knowing that all of this candy will also bring a smile to our troops, makes this candy drive all the more worthwhile,” said Dr. Nalin Patel. “And of course, it helps keep the children’s teeth clean and healthy.”

The annual candy buy-back is part of The Patel Care Organization’s commitment to promote dental health by encouraging good nutrition habits that last a lifetime. The Patel Cares organization is also gearing up for its annual Thanksgiving food drive and Toys for Tots donation program.
